ABOUT COACH T
Hello I am Tanesha AKA Coach T, a licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and relationship coach with a passion for helping individuals, couples, and families thrive in their relationships. In addition I am a certified Prepare Enrich Facilitator for premarital counseling services and conflict resolution strategies.
I am a proud graduate of Kentucky State University and Asbury Theological Seminary, where I obtained a master's degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. Unlike therapy that can address past issues, coaching is effective in a short period time and focuses on the here and now. I am honest, transparent and straightforward in my solution focused approach.
Having been married twice, but this time for 23 years, I utilize my personal and professional experience as a guide toward healthy growth. I know how to get my spouse to listen to me and it feels great!! My story is not everyone's story, but if I can survive the many challenges of being twice married, including infidelity, I know that others can too. I want to pray and support others on this journey. So, with a heart for uplifting and strengthening relationships, I approach my work with a no nonsense, straightforward, holistic and compassionate God-honoring perspective, honoring the mind, body, and spirit connection. Whether teaching my course, facilitating a 1:1 coaching session, a women's/couples workshop, premarital counseling sessions, or a marriage retreat event, my goal is to inspire and empower couples to navigate life's challenges, stop disagreement and embrace growth, healing and accept change in lightning speed.
